OVERSEAS GRANTS


In support of our mission, the Federation provides grants to organizations outside of the United States who “provide for Jewish people in need, and promote support for Israel,” particularly Israeli organizations. If your organization’s project/program aligns with our mission, you may be eligible to receive an Overseas Grant.

 

GRANTING PROCESS

 

  • We have one (1) granting cycle per year.
  • Grant applications are accepted prior to each cycle period.
  • We make our best effort to respond to your application within 90 days from the above referenced application dates. 
  • Grant funds must be used within 12 months from the date of funding.

  • Nevet - Providing nutricious school sandwiches for disadvantaged Israeli children in the city of Sderot - $7,500
  • Neve Michael Children's Village - Personal arrival packages for Neve Michael's Children's Emergency Crisis Center - $7,500
  • ORT America - Students' needs at Kfar Silver Youth Village (including needs of recent Ukrainian students) - $7,500
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Israel - Someone to Read, pairing teen role models with disadvantaged youth - $7,500
  • DVI: Dental Volunteers for Israel - Free dental care for Ukrainian refugee youth in addition to pre-IDF inductees and veterans' children - $7,500
  • The Yerucham Association in the memory of Ruth Tal for the Future of Education in Israel - Tutoring for Success, providing additional instruction to close education gaps - $7,500
  • Save a Child's Heart, US - Life-saving heart surgery and treatment for children in need - $7,500
  • American Friends of Leket Israel - Feeding Israel's children-at-risk - $7,500
  • The Ramon Foundation - The Aviators Club: helping youth at risk in southern Israel who suffer from trauma due to rockets fired from Gaza - $2,500
  • Teen Yerushalmi - Youth locating and attending to elderly residents in danger of neglect - $2,500
  • Ha'Sharon Sexual Assault Crisis Center (RCC Sharon) - Spreading the Word About KolMila: Live chat and WhatsApp helpline for youth impacted by sexual violence - $2,500

THIS YEAR WE ARE ONLY FUNDING GRANTS FOR YOUTH SUPPORT (NON-CHALLENGED) 

 

The Overseas Funding has been reduced to $75,000 this year.
