PJ Library kids

What is the PJ Library?

PJ Library helps families in their Jewish journey by sending Jewish-content books and music on a monthly basis to children from age six-months to eight-years.

This program is completely free for families, thanks to the generosity of The Harold Grinspoon Foundation, The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee and our incredible donors.

Here is just a handful of the books that are offered:

  • It's Tu B'shevat by Edie Stoltz
  • Apples and Honey by Joan Holub
  • The Bedtime Sh'ma by Sarah Gershman
  • A Holiday for Noah by Susan Remick Topek
  • My Jewish Discovery by Craig Taubman
  • Kippi and the Missing Matzah by Louise Gikow
  • Fox Walked Alone by Barbara Reid
  • King Solomon and the Bee by Dalia Hardof Renberg
  • Bagels From Benny by Aubrey Davi
  • Chicken Soup by Heart by Esther Heshenhorn
  • The Tale of Meshka the Kvetch by Carol Chapman
  • Rebecca's Journey Home by Brynn Olenberg Sugarman

Beyond Books

PJ Library sponsors many of the family-friendly events scheduled by The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee. From picnics to story time, you're sure to have a wonderful time with your child and others in the community. Plan to attend one of our events listed in the sidebar.
